The Wrestler

The Wrestler

Comeback movie, rise from the dead, whatever crap you can say about Mickey Rourke in his latest movie ‘The Wrestler’. Fine, this movie seems to summarise on Mickey’s fucked-up real life, only to be told as expiring pro-wrestler. It’s all about fighting your own demons. You yourself as the stumbling block for your own salvation.

So far there’s no salvation for Dayaks, and this movie just the perfect piss on how nonsense the Dayak associations and the shameless goons for some stupid nickels can be to undermine the rest of all Dayaks. Just look at it in a single Dayak context and boy, you are fighting your own demon, your own mistake, your own stupidity, serving rather than fighting your own enemy, your own identity, your own survival and your own hope. You are fighting as the Dayak wrestler against the odds by the Dayak themselves.

Ok folks, just enjoy the movie (the ending is a blip, just like the finale of Sopranos, sorry to spoil but it’s a bit love movie though) and some of the soundtracks sounds like that AC/DC stuffs. Yeah, someone tell that AC/DC guy not to wear shorts like a kid stuck in old man body. Happy Valentine and just piss off the mullah for trying to make this lovely day as haram, but it’s just great to be the wrestlin’ infidels eh? Till then.
